Summary: | Thieler Law Corp advises investors with losses exceeding $100,000 of the February 10, 2020 lead plaintiff deadline in a class action lawsuit filed against Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) (“Cintas” or “the Company”). The suit is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and investors, who purchased Cintas Corporation securities between March 6, 2017 and November 13, 2019, have until February 10, 2020 to move for lead plaintiff. You do not need to move for lead plaintiff to be a member of the Class. If you purchased Cintas Corporation securities during the Class Period, and have losses over $100,000, you may contact Thieler Law Corp by calling at (619) 377 - 4324 or emailing mail@thielerlaw.com . No class has been certified in this case, and if your losses are less than $100,000 you are still a member of the class. The complaint alleges that during the Class Period defendants made false and misleading statements and/or allegedly failed to disclose that Cintas never tracked legacy margins following the G&K acquisition; the Company has systematically provided guidance with which it would outperform (a “Beat and Raise” scheme); undisclosed to the investing public, the Company has breached the law multiple times; as a result of publicly known and undisclosed breaches of law, the Company’s Credit Agreement may be jeopardized; and as a result, defendants’ statements about its business, operations, and prospects, were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times. The lawsuit claims that when the truth was disclosed in the Spruce Point Capital Management investment research report, investors suffered damages. On November 13, 2019, a report by Spruce Point Capital Management claimed to "have evidence that Cintas' Fire Protection Services was charged with fraud and is causing a public safety hazard by having workers conduct fire and safety inspections without proper licenses or permits, and falsifying inspections." Furthermore, Spruce Point stated that "Cintas is facing financial strain in its core uniform rental business from its 2017 levered acquisition of G&K [Services, Inc.] for $2.1 bn," asserting that "it appears management may have suppressed G&K revenue and misguided expenses." Following this news, NASDAQ: CTAS fell sharply during intraday trading.
