The complaint alleges that during the Class Period defendants made false and misleading statements and/or allegedly failed to disclose that Indivior and its executives engaged in an illicit nationwide scheme to increase prescriptions of Suboxone Film;  Indivior illegally obtained billions of dollars in revenue from Suboxone Film prescriptions by deceiving health care providers and health care benefit programs; as a result of the aforementioned misconduct, Indivior would face felony charges; and due to the foregoing, Defendants’ statements about its business, operations, and prospects, were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.

On April 10, 2019, the Department of Justice charged Indivior with fraudulently marketing its treatment for people addicted to opioids.

Following this news, the Company’s share price fell $4.48 per share, more than 66%, to close at $2.30 per share on April 10, 2019.
